Man United Assess Options To Replace Erik ten Hag; Dutchman Unlikely To Stay After Summer

According to a new report from ESPN, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team have been assessing the shortlisted options that are likely to replace Erik ten Hag as the man in charge of the Red Devils for the new season.

Ipswich McKenna remains a top choice among other options, which include Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino, both free agents. Brentford manager Thomas Frank also remains a potential candidate eyed by INEOS.

While the decsion for replacing Erik Ten Hag won’t be entirely dependent on Man United 8th place finish in the Premier League, but for the team’s performance over the course of two years, reported ESPN.

Ipswich Boss Remains a Top Choice Among Other Candidates

Ipswich boss Kieran Mckenna remains the most top choice among the candidate as INEOS and Sir Ratcliffe are eyeing for a “young, up and coming boss”, rather than an “experienced manager.” Earlier an assistant to Jose Mourinho during his term at Man United, the Mckenna stated he would be excited by the opportunity to return to Old Trafford.

Kieran McKenna is known for guiding Ipswich back to a good spot within the Premier League.
