After failing to qualify for the Premier League, Club Manchester United are introducing a drastic pay cut for their entire football roster which also includes the manager.

According to the latest report from The Sun, Man United are is slashing player and manager salaries by over 25%. The pay cut intends to save the club millions of pounds over the course of the entire season.

Man U players and staff affected

The pay cuts won’t be simply restricted to the playing squad of footballers, as Manager Erik Ten Hag will also get his salary slashed by over 25%. The news of the pay cut for Man United’s entire squad follows right after ESPN’s report of the manager getting his salary slashed off.

Manchester United is also slated to save more money as players Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane are preparing to exit the Club. Casemiro will have his weekly wage impacted by 25%, reducing it from £97,500k, leaving the Brazilian footballer with £ 262,500 per week.
